Mr. Lorentz was born and raised in Miami, Florida and
attended the University of Florida (Go Gators!) for his undergraduate degree
and graduate degree in social studies secondary education.
He taught in Miami for 3 years prior to moving to
Jacksonville, Florida where he taught an additional 3 years. While living in Jacksonville he earned an
additional graduate degree in Educational Leadership from the University of
North Florida before becoming a school administrator.
For the next 6 years Mr. Lorentz worked as an Assistant
Principal and Principal in Jacksonville, Florida before relocating to Georgia
with his family.
This will be Mr. Lorentz’s 2nd year in Georgia
and at Allatoona, and he is very happy to have found a wonderful place to work and
fantastic people to work with. Go Bucs!
